In Canada, shooting and hunting can be classified as “high end” outdoor activities. It is loved by majority of outdoor enthusiasts. Therefore, the establishment of the West Coast Hunting and Shooting Club is to work with all enthusiast to respect and follow regulations that protect wilderness animals, and to ensure that all related activities are done in accordance to the law. At the same time, to share our various skills, such as cross bowing, firearm operation, tracing of preys, tracking following targets, searching for targets and more professional skills, with our fellow hunters.

By interacting and communicating with West Coast Hunting and Shooting Club, our members will enhance their abilities so that they have , "accurate, fearless, alert, wise and tenacious wilderness skills, including survival, risk assessment, self-help, strain and other comprehensive ability". While also gaining professional knowledge, learning practical skills, as well as gathering information on other areas, such as dangerous or common situations that may occur during activities.

Enhance legal awareness, improve legal knowledge, reduce legal disputes. Promote and pass on the spirit of shooting, hunting and overseas sport. Maintain the healthy development of our ecological environment. Improve safety skills for outdoor activities. Reduce the overall risk of outdoor sport.
